This application functions as an interval or circuit lap timer, designed to record lap times and compute daily averages for groups of athletes, including swimmers, cyclists, sprinters, and other endurance sports. It offers an optional configurable rest period between laps, with auditory and visual alerts signaling the end of rest for each athlete, even when the app is running in the background. Coaches can then advise athletes to commence their next lap by initiating the start process through the app.

The interface allows for controlling athletes via an Apple Watch (compatible with iOS 12.4+ and WatchOS 4.3+), providing convenient start and stop functionalities.

Setting the rest time to zero activates split-time recording: each press of the Lap End button logs a lap time without stopping the overall timer. The Stop All function terminates timing for all athletes but does not record times. To stop both a lap and the timer, press and hold the Lap End button. In this mode, total elapsed time is displayed.

The app accommodates both metric and imperial distance measurements and includes optional pace calculations expressed in minutes per kilometer or mile.

Group members can be started simultaneously or individually, with unlimited groups and athletes supported within each group. Multiple groups can operate concurrently.

Data sharing is facilitated through export options, enabling daily lap times and averages—along with previous performance data—to be sent via email or SMS in CSV format, facilitating easy integration with spreadsheet applications.

<li>An optional countdown timer (5, 10, or 15 seconds) can be used to prepare athletes for their next start.</li>
<li>The total elapsed time can be refreshed in real time via a toggle setting, though this feature is disabled in Race Mode on iPad.</li>

The application supports splitting athletes into two subgroups: those who have started versus those who have stopped. Additionally, athlete order within a group can be rearranged unless split into subgroups.

The Race Mode feature on iPad offers simultaneous management of multiple groups and individual athletes. Athletes can be started at will, and their progress is monitored collectively or individually. The interface automatically divides started and ended athletes into separate groups for streamlined oversight.

Group membership data can be imported from a CSV file; each line should contain an athlete’s name, with the file prepared as an existing empty group with a '.csv' extension (e.g., "triathlon.csv"). Sharing functions allow for email transfer or other means of file sharing within supported apps.

Groups can be cloned or deleted as needed for efficient management.
